Record Attempt Update
Although Team Linea Rossa made a strong start to the Türkiye Tour Record Attempt — passing the Sinop and Bosphorus checkpoints while improving on the current record time — as of 22:09 on 27 May 2025, while near Marmara Island, the team decided to end the attempt due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions.
In accordance with the Turkish Sailing Federation's Türkiye Tour Record Attempt rules, the team will repeat the record attempt using one of its two remaining rights. The new start date will be set depending on the weather conditions and will be announced on this page.

About the Türkiye Record Attempt
This record attempt aims both to test our sailing capacity and to make our country's offshore potential visible by running along Türkiye's coasts non-stop over 1,500 nautical miles. Requiring navigation, weather tracking, team harmony, and endurance, this project is carried out within a professional framework backed by planning, logistics, and media support. Our goal is not only to push our limits but also to contribute to the offshore sailing culture in Türkiye and to inspire a new generation of sailors.
